Overview

Throughout the whole of the German FIFA World Cup,the banks of the River Main, Frankfurt were transformed. Football fans could view the tournament via a giant LED screen which was installed in the river and visable to spectators on both sides.

The riverside entertainment was key to Frankfurt’s hospitality success with the installation of temporary stands and seating being pivotal to the successful hosting for the fans.

Solution

RÖDER HTS HÖCKER supplied a 2-storey temporary structure on the river bank to assist FIFA with their celebrations. The structure comprised a 75.00m base unit with a 15.00m x 35.00m top level with an additional 40.00m of open balcony. In addition, the structure incorporated a number of key product features including slanted glass and ABS walling, balustrades, internal staircases, heavy duty flooring and premium entrance / exit doors.
