Our client, the owner of an exceptional residence hidden in the town of Berry, between Indre and Cher in France, wished to purchase an event structure to complement their existing buildings which would add an additional space that could accommodate 240 seated guests.
The client wanted a semi-permanent structure that would be unique, aesthetically pleasing and would meet all their specification requirements; which include: providing a space that would offer ultimate comfort for its users, an office area, reception area, a large catering facility, easy access for people with reduced mobility, a dance floor and a cloakroom. The event structure needed to integrate perfectly into the open landscape gardens.
On the recommendation of the RÖDER HTS HÖCKER sales representative, the client chose an octagonal event structure 15.00 m diameter they added to this another structure measuring 15.00m x 5.00m. The roof was a PVC fabric in a slate grey colour. The walling was 50% glass bays. This luxury event marquee structure was fully equipped with a flooring system and internal linings. The reception, office and catering facility were created from linking 3 individual pagodas to the main structure utilising the same slate grey PVC roofing fabric.
The Venue Castle Dangy now has a very unique semi-permanent event structure that enhances their current facilities and fits in perfectly with landscape. – They named it the ‘Coupole’.
